@jamellebouie.net I think it’s the quotemark around the word ‘authenticity.’ It would imply to many that being good “performer” on a stage is the antithesis of being authentic, when what is really being considered here is what’s a good communicator. I don’t think he’s performative, he’s just a good public speaker.
