@andrewfordlyons.net The only place that regime’s symbol can represent actual resistance to tyranny is in Folan’s very confused head. In the real world it’s one of the symbols of it. The entire party is less for putting this nuttery in proximity to decision making.

@inplacesdeep.bsky.social Read Treasure Island to my kid when he was 4 or 5, and The Hobbit before that. Both were kids books as far as I’m concerned, but I guess it begs the question of why wouldn’t they be? Some of the best books are kids books.

It’s really on the Greens to decide if it’s a modern progressive left party ready to lead or if it’s just a curious grab bag of weird cranks. We’ve seen how that goes.
