A Royal Mail post box for stamped and franked mail

Here’s how you can reach me on various platforms or whatever.

Hello friend. Maybe you know me, maybe I know you. Probably not. But if you want to drop me a message, I’ve come up with a few methods to do so, below, and some notes on these. ’m often throwing in or removing different options here, mostly to find ways that are more secure for us all. Now that I’ve migrated to micro.blog I’ll see what else I can offer via this site.

A contact form!

I’m trying out Letterbird for this.

(If the form isn’t embedding on this page, here’s a link to it.)

Signal messages

You can currently fling signal messages at Channel.90 (kudos if you can identify the pop culture reference). Signal offers end-to-end encryption and lots of other security and privacy features. You should be using it for all your calls and texts.

Social sites

You can send me an @ on these social platforms. If you’re worried about anonymity or privacy, then this is not going to be a good method, but if you want ease, and just an introduction, then sure.

  • I’m on Mastodon. You can send me a DM here (not encrypted), or just learn more about my dubious opinions on things.
  • Here’s me on Bluesky, the Twitter replacement for most people who left that hell site. I had stayed on Twitter until the end, but closed the account on the day when Elon rebranded the trash fire he’d made of it into 𝕏.
  • Because I’m messing with federated protocol syndication, I’ve let myself have a Meta profile on Threads. Here’s me there.
  • And you’re currently looking a a site hosted on micro.blog. If you’ve got an account here, you can @ me here.
  • I also recently booted up a Nostr profile, it’s also a federated protocol space, thought it works very differently. It’s a truly decentralised ID that isn’t tied to any one platform. You can search for me anywhere you use Nostr with my ID information on njump.me.
  • This is me on LinkedIn. Here you can find out what I’m up to work-wise and see if I’m worth talking to.
  • It’s not really social, but it’s public, here’s my Github profile. No, it’s not terribly active. I’m mostly there to lurk, occasionally host something on Github Pages and to be an admin/owner of some other team repositories there. But send me your cool project there if you’ve got one, would love to check it out.

Emails

Here’s an email addy (using a Firefox Relay mask): cvaixwubw[@]mozmail[.]com. It reaches a Tuta.com Account. Tuta is a privacy-focused email provider with a good security model.

Other secure channels

I may include some links here later to DM me directly, but I maintain accounts on loads of more secure, encrypted channels: Signal, Briar, Wire, and Matrix. Pick one. I can also launch an ephemeral, super anonymous and encrypted session over Tor with Onionshare. Fun times.

More to come. Watch this space.
